Sigma Kappa Lambda Christian Fraternity, Incorporated is a Christian fraternity that was founded to support and build men in the community in which they lived.  The fraternity was founded on June 29, 2014 by three friends Pastor Jeffery B.K. Hall Jr., Minister DeNikos T. Stewart,  and Prophet Kendrick D. Jackson. It is the first Christian fraternity in the city of Birmingham.  These men set out to change the community in which they lived in by serving the community, committed to work with all mankind with Godly Aspiration.  The fraternity primary focus was set on the juvenile mentoring and community outreach.

The Fraternity adopted the Motto: “ Men Working Together To Build the Kingdom” and began to work in their community by feeding the homeless and partnering with other organizations within the city to start the building process. On June 15, 2015, the fraternity was incorporated in the State of Alabama and recognize as a legal organization. Living up to the motto they formed the Mission Statement, “ To encourage all men to be what God has called us to be in efforts to build the Kingdom for the betterment of Mankind.”

The growth of the fraternity has been steady and selective the fraternity added three additional men to the fold to help with the building of the kingdom and were rewarded as part of the organization as founding charter members. Those members are as follows: Minister David C.McCall Jr.,  James Nichols, and Elder  DeVaria Conner Sr.  Once these men came aboard the fraternity took off. Through the efforts of the fraternity, we have worked with other foundations such as the Deja King Foundation, where we have sponsored high school graduating seniors with items for college.  The Fraternity has also sponsored a Youth Revival in the city of Birmingham helping one person at a time to affect positive change within the community.

Since the founding of the fraternity, they have activated one chapter which is the Alpha chapter that was charted on February 20, 2016, and has added additional men to the fold with plans on continued growth in different communities.
