PURPOSE

The purpose for which this corporation is organized and for which it shall be operated is to promote and secure fellowship among its members; while serving its surrounding community and citizens in need. Specifically, Sigma Kappa Lambda Christian Fraternity purposes to:

 

Support and educate the community regarding healthy living; Mentor at-risk teens, children and young adults, with a special emphasis, but not limited to

those living in single-parent households or economically depressed neighborhoods.

Fund and support a broad spectrum of community outreach and projects, within Jefferson County, AL as well as relief projects and partnership opportunities outside of Jefferson County.

To conduct, engage in, or otherwise carry out the activities of any charitable organization or all lawful purposes for which State of Alabama Nonprofit Corporations and/or tax-exempt organizations may therein operate.
